More Pentium 4 benchmarks tip up theregister.co.uk Very interesting, this time they are from a relatively reliable source (PC manufacturer) and compare a Pentium 4 1.4 GHz with a Thunderbird 1.1 GHz. It appears that in integer and floating point performance the P4 is a real loser while in memory dependent benchmarks (Quake 3, 3D Mark 2000) it shines. Also interesting: Launch is now scheduled for the week of October, 30th (this seems to be in order with Barrets comments last week). Andreas
