That Newsweek poll is an anomaly. Every other poll has them in a dead heat, which is where both parties said they'd be at this time.

Rick Hertzberg was sitting in for Daniel Schoor on NPR this morning. He's a fairly partisan Democrat, and he said the race is a dead heat. He didn't mention the Newsweek poll. Responsible journalists know what it is, a political hit job.
