Clinton Commits U.S. to Develop AIDS Vaccine yahoo.com This article mentions the scope of the problem: "About three million people worldwide are infected yearly with the HIV virus that causes AIDS, and an estimated 29 million people carry the virus. Without a vaccine, AIDS will soon overtake tuberculosis and malaria as the leading killer disease of people 25-to-44 years of age, experts said." Procept is not working the AIDS vaccine, but they are working on a tuberculosis vaccine and possibly malaria, according to their annual report. This seems to be a good area for Procept. Tuberculosis and malaria are the world's deadliest infectious diseases! The market is huge.
