I can't disagree with you on that, and that means that the statement "The G&K Index (GKI) consists of large cap (>$10B) Gorillas and Kings that are broadly owned by members of the thread", is slightly misstated.

For those that may not have been around when the Index was constructed, I'll simply point out that, strictly speaking, the GKI actually reflects the 10 largest holdings of G&K thread constituents, as portfolios existed at the end of 1999.
