You mean like some of the pension funds who were duped into buying 'derivative' edged bonds, where the 'underlying' was AA or AAA but the investment bank tacked on short peso puts, etc., etc. I don't have experience with Commercial banks, but investment banks will sell whatever they can, and they certainly don't give a crap about the customer. Look no further than Orange county.
