About a month ago I got a day trading call. The firm cleared through penson. I called and said they were wrong. They called back and said....oh yeah, I was looking at the wrong account when I emailed you. Bullshit. BUt no call. Last week the same thing.....almost. Bought half the account value in sub $5 stocks. The other half with marginable securities. Never exceeded buying power. And remember day trading buying power, once earned is never changed. Next day, trading call. Told them they were wrong. BUt I cancelled the account this time. I will not use any firm clearing through Penson. Shootie
