You missed the important part of the show. They talked about all the minorites (who are actually majorities) in Silicon Valley (with an emphasis on India) and how much the openness and acceptance of these different people into society has contributed to the success of the US. The indian american workforce has a higher per capita income than US-borns and that is an amazing feat because many of these people are artificially underpaid thanks to h1-b visa regulations.
