Didn't Intel screw up the 4 way zeon servers.
Screwed dell etc.
Leaving market open to compaq to dominate as they had their own chipsets.
But of course your memory of Intels perfect execution is correct.
Nobody's gonna want 1.5Ghz mustangs with 1-2Mb cache with ldt etc etc with high speed DDR memory.
Nope they are gone keep on buying the Xeons at 750Mhz.
Yup time to load up on Intel methinks.
PIV launch with dual RDRAM to retake the high end deskto.
I suggest the intel longs double up.
Intels going to the moon.
