chic, If Intel pulls off a miracle and gets .13um copper shipping as Barrett states they will, I will be dumping my AMD. I think there are more variables at play that will determine which company will gain ground at expense of the other than just timeliness of Intel copper process. We need to consider how good the process is, what it will do to Intel's bin splits and yields. We have to consider CPU design. We will have Sledgehammer vs. Itanium vs. Mustang vs. Foster etc. for desktop and notebook. In addition to that, we have to consider that AMD is not standing still. In Intel's favor, we have to consider that we have absolutely no idea about what;s going on in Intel test labs. Just because there is no production facility and parts in production, it doesn't mean that Intel is behind. Joe
