Roabear, Not only did I close my windows, but I traded in my 15 years old A/C unit for a SER 14 Trane last week. This is the third day in a row with temperatures over 105-107, and it's supposed to stay that way for the next four days. The worst part is the humidity in the 90's. I'm getting cabin fever having to hide inside all day. If Houston wasn't the oil capital, I would have gotten the *ell out of here a LONG LONG time ago. Maybe I will be able to afford a mountain home with all my savings on the A/C bills. (ggg) Sleepless in Houston, Jim
