IowaMan has a major announcement!!! I'll be like one of those companies that has bad news and releases a press statement on a holiday weekend when nobody is around to read it. I DON'T REALLY WORK FOR MAYTAG! I know, some of you probably guessed that. But there's more to this shameful tale. Although I was born in Iowa and it is very near and dear to my heart, I haven't lived there for many years. When I was trying to get an ID for raging bull all of the ones I wanted, like Uptick and Downtick were taken. In desparation I turned to my roots and entered, IowaMan. Voila, I had an ID. I had no idea that I would fall into a community of regulars who would get to know me. It was fun building a character around IowaMan, pulling distant memories into my posts. It was also fun having everybody treat me like I was from Iowa. Before long I was in this too deep to be anything but IowaMan. AND I SINCERELY APOLOGISE TO EVERYBODY who may feel that they have been duped. I am IowaMan, I love the state. I just don't reside there. Now that I have this off my chest I feel better. Happy tradint to all.
