Sleepless in Tax-a-chussetts:

It may be cooler now but in a few months it will be a lot more expensive.

I kiss the southern ground I live on every February when Spring starts and I think of shoveling all that greyed out polluted slow sludge from my driveway, knowing I've got 2 more months of that crap in front of me - NEVER again. I now prefer watching the jasmin blossom. For this I can put up with one bad month in August. The good thing about NC and SC is that the mountains are only an hour and a half away from the coast. Gasoline is still only $1.30 a gallon for regular. Cheaper still in Ga.

But then the most perfect place to live in the US is the Pacific Northwest, starting at San Francisco. Belissima, IF you can afford it.

Frank: The Juniata is one of the best most placid rivers to canoe on the east coast. Never fished it though. IMO - The Place - to visit in Pennsy, is Wellsboro and Pine Creek. God's country, brother.
