I not sure exactly how the set up goes, but here is what I think happened.

I downloaded and registered. At some point I was asked if I wanted to notify a friend and requested their e-mail address. I did and sent it.

On the other end they got an attachment (Your New IR Login) with my username and password? Here is what they got...
