Hi Jim,

Welcome to the thread. Steve A in the VANS thread (http://www.techstocks.com/~wsapi/investor/s-8289/reply-142) sums up the possibilities for this stock with "...stocks trade on sentiment and sometimes fundamentals." Right now not too many people may be aware of the upcoming merger and may only consider the success of the tamagotchi phenomenon when they decide on buying BNDCY shares. Long-term investors in BNDCY should definitely be aware of the merger and look at the financials of both Bandai and Sega to determine the quality of an investment in BNDCY right now. Short-term investors in BNDCY (like Scott (I think) and me), are more concerned with the success of tamagotchis and the reflection of that success in BNDCY's short-term price. I think that right now people see how well the tamagotchi is selling and are bidding up the price of BNDCY in anticipation of good earnings for Bandai. Does anyone know how the "Tickle Me Elmo" doll affected its maker's share price (I don't know who the company was or if they were public)?

Time to do some fundy research on Sega and see if it's worth sticking around through the merger...

Kirk
