I did some checking on the relative attractiveness of the two fiscal regimes (Sudan and Oman) this morning, since I was not sure which one provided better returns for investors. It appears that the fiscal regime in Sudan is more attractive to the Contractor (and less attractive to the State) on almost every individual comparison, but both regimes are in the bottom 50% of all fiscal regimes worldwide.

I'll post more details later on tonight when I have some free time.
