David and all, I have been an investor in COMS for a long time and now I am also in PALM. In my town in Florida is a Staples store where they have a PALM display. I go there often to buy stuff and usually I stop by the PALM display. I always try to use one of them. There are no instructions around the display. I fool around with the stylus. Nothing ever happens. Always, there are no sale speople around. So I give up in disgust, buy my printer paper and leave.
If there was some instruction there how to demo a unit, or if there was ever a sales person around to offer a demonstration, I probably would have purchased one a long time ago. I wonder how many others are out there like me that the marketing arm of PALM completely ignores.
I went to the PALM web site to send them this message, but there seems to be no way to get in touch with them via e-mail. Interesting.
Regards,
RF
