Joe & Bill, While the problem of Duron's cracking from improperly installed or designed heat sinks is well known there was never any mention of this problem wrt T-Bird. Even if this a problem also shared with T-Bird Sharky seems to allude to outright failure of T-Birds and their mother boards. "Athlon Thunderbird processors and KT133 motherboards dying". Other then the heat sink problem, I ask again, Where's the reports of dead T-Birds and mother boards? ajb BTW If I buy a mother board/cpu combo with a heat sink and fan do they come already mounted?
