You misunderstand Clinton's goal. You are responding to his political actions using reasoning. That will get you nowhere, since Clinton is not fighting against or promoting a tax policy. He is simply promoting the typical "class warfare" mentality and the "us-against-them" feeling upon which his political party feeds to maintain its power.
