Wegener Corp gets $11.8 mln deal from Fox
DULUTH, Ga., May 19 (Reuter) - Wegener Corp said Monday it has received a contract valued at more than $11.8 million to manufacture MPEG-2 digital video receivers for FOX Sports Net and FX Networks.
The receivers, which are part of Wegener's Unity products family, will be used by Fox cable services including Fox Sports Net, FX, and Movies from Fox, all part of the Fox Network, which is a unit of News Corp.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in September, it said.
Wegener, through its units, designs and manufactures communications transmission and receiving equipment for the business broadcast, data communications, cable and broadcast radio and television industries for worldwide markets. |
