Alert: Market Maker Quotes in Some OTC Equities Wiped Out Due to Unit of Trade Changes September 5, 2000 The new size requirements for OTC Equity securities pursuant to Rule 6750 become effective today, September 5, 2000. The new ranges for securities priced over $200 are:
$200.01 to $500 will be 25 shares $500.01 to $1000 will be 10 shares $1000.01 to $2500 will be 5 shares $2500.01 and over will be 1 share In order to properly reflect the changes in OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB), the "Unit of Trade" has been set to "1" on the quote screen for securities priced over $200. Please be advised that in order for the OTCBB to properly reflect the new default size, members MUST update their quotes in the affected securities.
All displayed priced quotes in the following securities have been "wiped out" and must be re-entered.
AKAP, ALTEO, ANDC, BHRBE, BUTH, BKUT, CONBE, FCBN, FINCE, FINN, FMBL, FMCB, FNAN, FSCOP, LINLK, MCHB, MNAT, MNBP, NACB and PBOWP.
