Don't be fooled (well, I guess you WERE!) with a "contrary" philosophy. Sure, it is true some of the time, but you must consider the situations. The "contrary" play on this stock was 15 down to 10 7/8. Everyone bad-mouthing, unsubstantiated news. People see "Cayman Islands" and they think "stay away" ..<< emotion, not reason. Those are the earmarks to go "contrary". NOT, because option buyers are not trading. Market Makers in the market are OBLIGED to make a bid/ask. Part of their contract. No selling of calls, as price goes down, means MMs are not convinced top is in.
