HMAT never acquired DRIP -- that deal was terminated shortly after it was announced. DRIP eventually became bankrupt. ECO2's supposedly most valuable asset -- its patent regarding tire pyrolysis -- went to Ledford. ECO2 was left with debt (some arguably phony -- in favor of Ledford relatives) so any money that came in, would go out. DRIP and EC02 are long dead. "Rollo Tomase" as they say in that excellent movie LA Confidential -- sometimes the bad guys get away with it. HMAT became BNPT (Barpoint.com) and went huge temporarily in the Internet goldrush. It's still around, although at a lower price. Maybe it's no more phony than most internet whizbangs. SCKT also appears to be real. It was arguably wildly overpriced for awhile (it's still a tiny tiny company) but it sells things in markets where optimism is maybe justified (PC Cards for Palm-pilot sized products, some of which involve wireless applications). We never did hear what happened to Gary Green's suit. Someone here tried belatedly getting on it, but never heard from Gary. - Charles
