DataMirror Named A Winner Of Arthur Andersen 2000 Tech100 Award: Tech100 List Recognizes Top Technology Public Companies In Canada
TORONTO, CANADA--DataMirror Corporation (TSE: DMC - news), a leading provider of e-Business data integration and resiliency solutions, today announced that it has been chosen by Arthur Andersen LLP as a winner of the Tech100 Award. The Tech100 is the definitive national listing of the top technology public companies in Canada.

To be eligible for the Tech100 Award, the company must be a public funded Canadian company and must also have technology as it's main business. The winners are listed based on their 1999 fiscal end revenues.

There is no nomination process for the Tech100 Award. Winning companies are selected based on a search of all public companies, compiled through the SEDAR database. All public technology companies were reviewed by Arthur Anderson based on their eligibility and their revenues at the time of compilation.

``DataMirror's placement on the prestigious Tech100 List is a major achievement,'' said Nigel Stokes, Chairman, President and CEO of DataMirror Corporation. ``We are proud to join this impressive list of companies who are playing an integral role in the technology sector's phenomenal growth in Canada. I want to take this opportunity to thank all our employees and stakeholders whose commitments have contributed to the Company's success as a major player on the world technology and innovation scene.''

The 2000 Tech100 ranking is highlighted in the June 12th, 2000 issue of Canadian Business Magazine. This year's Tech100 list can also be viewed on-line by referring to Arthur Andersen's web site at: www.arthurandersen.com/canada or by visiting Canadian Business Magazine's web site at: canadianbusiness.com.
