Building a Successful Company – What Investor’s should look for

Since January, 1999 there has been roughly 200 OTC companies that have advanced to
either the Nasdaq or Amex Markets. While most of these occurred in late 1999 and early
2000, some are also in danger of falling back to the OTC BB. In fact, of the 3,000 companies
on the OTC BB only 6% have climbed away from the pack to reach new heights. Of this
number, only 10 have really performed in spite of the pullback during the spring of 2000. To
us, this yields an overall success ratio of .3% -- or only one third of one percent will not only
reach new heights, but also perform in all kinds of market environments. Over the next few
weeks, we’ll be taking a look at these companies – we’ll see what they did right and wrong
and how you may be able to determine the signs of another successful up and comer.
