Bosco,
I was working on some Sun box [maybe the old Ultrasparc] a few yrs back, but I am really a MVS lifer, so, it is especially poignant. Ultimately, it is quite meaningless to talk about raw power, w/o taking into account of reliability and software packages. Not sure there are many Sybase running on a S/390, you know!

You just went right over my non tech head. I know just enough to keep our 2 laptops and the old tower going. <g>
