I think it's a wash at best because no one knows the euro vs dollar evaluation that far out... Heck, the Euro could recover well by then.

When you are building a FAB, you are getting into a lot of contracts that have a fixed price and fixed payment schedule. If you don't want to gamble, you can hedge these contracts so that these contracts stay constant in dollar terms. There is a slight premium associated with hedging.

If you are ok with some level of gambling, you can do nothing and hope that Euro either stays where it is, declines further or if it goes up, it doesn't shot up to the level where Euro was introduced (or higher), because that would mean 20% premium on locally supplied content over what it can be bought now.
