The only major calculation is that their market cap
is 5 times greater than the parent company they spun
off from. Palm was not 80% of 3com. More like 5-10%.
Also a PE greater than 400 is not a great sign for a
division in business for a while and market leader in
their segment.
Could also just be that 3Com is way under valued.
