the organization would pay ''social dividends'' Funny? I get tired with the faith based organizations so called calls to charity. Most are recruiting drives dressed up with free giveaways. Same thing for the commercial "Buy this and we give $5 to such and such charity" programs. They are using your money for their tax reduction. I prefer to give my money directly when possible (I have hired a lot of labor I didn't need because the people doing it were trying hard), and to organizations that make good use of it (Nature Conservency is my favorite, they actually buy land and preserve it instead of just lobbying with the funds), and to the government in taxes in order to provide a safety net that doesn't ask the receipient to come on bended knee.
