First American Scientific Corp. announces Beau Pre and Zeolite tests successfully completed
FASC-OTC, BB
VANCOUVER, Sept. 5 /PRNewswire/ - C.L. Kantonen, President of FASC is
pleased to announce successful completion of the first bench test of Beau Pre
ore which took place in Vancouver August 29, 2000.

The testing was designed to
determine if the KDS System was capable of liberating gold from the Beau Pre
deposits, and to determine the optimum size of particles that the KDS could
withstand without causing undue wear to the equipment.

Management of both BPD and FASC were overwhelmingly impressed with the
results. The KDS Systems reduced the ore to a fine powder of - 400 mesh in
which fine particles of gold were, according to Robert Beau Pre, visually
present. There was no visible wear to the chains. The samples have now been
sent to the lab for detailed analysis. FASC is now making arrangements to
process a 10 ton sample to confirm the KDS systems volume capabilities, and if
successful, a KDS System will be fabricated and moved to the Beau Pre site.

The larger test will take place at FASC's Bakersfield plant using similar
material obtained from that region.

Zeolite samples provided by Zeo-Tech Enviro Corp. were successfully
processed through the KDS system in a smooth, efficient manner and were
reduced to a very fine -400 to -500 mesh. The size of the particles, the
hardness of zeolite, and the dryness of the material appear to be a perfect
match for the KDS System's processing capabilities. Zeotech has indicated that
they are currently planning a $ 5,000,000 processing plant in Princeton, BC
and hope that the KDS can play a significant role in their plans.
