lazarre,

No theories here only the facts, Jack.

A few weeks ago when this thing is flip-flopping around $30 one of the more influential sellsiders who follows this thing made comments regarding their biz with Verizon. Despite the fact that at the time Verizon was mired in that strike, the analyst's contact indicated that they would step up their capital spending substantially in excess of what people were looking for. And quickly.

The way I understand it, about 20% of PWAV's biz is direct with the bulk of the remainder going to the OEM's. Verizon is a direct sale and with them kicking up their spending it would seem that PWAV's third quarter had a chance to come in a little better than the flat sequential quarter the company guided to on the last conference call.

Of course there could be some other things drving this thing, possibly 3G related, and I have not turned over any rocks on this one in a few weeks.

The stock has tacked on nearly 20 points since those comments circulated so we better get busy looking for the next catalyst before people start asking what PWAV has done for us lately.
