New to this thread, but I'm pretty excited. I've been gorilla hunting on my own, almost exclusively in the Gilder jungle. I'd not paid attention to Gemstar at all (except to see that VCR Plus was on my new VCRs) till seeing it on the G&K list and reading your excellent article. This one definitely deserves my attention.

You guys have built a great thread here. Now it will take me a few weeks to work through old postings.
