| It is hard for me as a very conservative person to understand why the liberals, some of whom are very successful, continue to believe that Government is the answer to all problems. There is a roll for government to play, defense, police work, international trade, interstate commerce, etc. However, when it comes to providing for some at the expense of others, I draw the line. As I've previously stated, SSI as originally started, had a good purpose, but the oversized dinosaur entitlement was not what was envisioned. Why can't they cut back to provide for those who are truly in need? Conservativism relies on people to make something of their lives. What is wrong with that?
