Much of what he said re: Intel was true, I hope he doesn't have to eat THOSE words. If he would just say some good stuff about AMD, possibly an upgrade, or that they are succeeding where Intel is failing - I would be happy. ;~>

I think people are not hearing Kumar very well. He's not saying that Intel is in a world of hurt because of its screw ups, but rather that PC demand has fallen off sharply world-wide, and that's why Intel won't meet its forward guidance. According to the way Kumar couched things, the problem with the P3 1.13 G and the P4 play only a small role in this shortfall.

Translation....AMD is in the same boat as Intel. That's why I want to Kumar to be proven wrong.

BTW, how 'bout those Giants! (not the ones in NY)

Whadaya mean, da giants? What about the Mariners??!!!

The only team this summer to have a final score look like the half time score at a high school football game.

No kidding! Two weeks ago the final score was 19/3, and guess who had the 3 runs. The Mariners lost their asses, their uniforms and their stadium that nite!!

The Mariners suck and I love it. Now what were you saying about dem der giants?

Ted (who loves AMD, blackjack, the Naz and the Mariners)
