Prior Art
Thanks to Rick on the Fool
Looks like MU is grasping at air to me
==========================================================
In the Micron filing, they refer to the following Rambus patents as the "patents in suit":
5915105,
5953263,
5954804,
5995443, references IBM patent 4845664
6032214, references IBM patent 4845664
6032215, references IBM patent 4845664
6034918, references IBM patent 4845664
6038195

The term "prior art" doesn't concern me too much at this point. Four of the Rambus patents reference the IBM 4845664 patent which means Rambus and the US Patent Office were aware of the IBM patent. The fact that the patent examiner's attention was pointed to the IBM patent makes it unlikely that they would have issued the patent if they covered the same exact claim.
