Westmoreland,<<<I have a lot of faith in the Dell Management Team.>>>

I am not so certain about the new management team as they go through this transition. There is bound to be some hiccoughs (sp?).

But I am investing because of the business model - using the Internet for sales and reducing cost by managing the supply chain using the Internet Protocol and Infrastructure.

Every brick and mortar company if they are to survive the millenium has to address this as their primary issue.

DELL is almost half way there already. And, they do not have much of the tradition brick and mortar infrastructure to get in their way.

Kumar and the others (Analysts) are only looking at this from a quarter to quarter basis - using simplistic metrics. Very little of the Internet supply chain management issues and ecommerce story is built into Dell share prices.

Ariba, Commerce One, ITWO technologies, Manugistics and a lot of the other B2B plays are selling at tremendously high multiples because they promise to help companies to be successful in an ecommerce enivronment.

DELL is already there. They are writing the book on ecommerce.

The MSD story is just beginning.
