By the way, for all you technical analysis fans, we're locked into a very classic wedge-shaped trading channel with rising lows and declining highs. We just bounced off the top end of the channel at 9 and change, and we're looking at a bottom around 7 1/2 or so. I'll be buying more at that point (which should be right around the time of the shareholders' meeting).

Also, trace back the top edge of the channel and see how neatly it cuts across the downside gap back in March '96.

Of course, I think TA is just a buncha hooey, but it can become a self-fulfilling prophesy. Which leads me to an idea: grab all the TA traders by the nose and pop the stock above 9. It should only take a few $100K judiciously traded around lunchtime. This will lead to more buying as the technicians realise that a breakout is in progress. Anyone listening?

Not that I'd recommend stock manipulation, of course, or that anything like this ever happens on Wall Street...

Oh, no. Not me.

;-)
