What do any of us know? Not much. In all probability, some yahoo like Gardner at SSB probably spent the day sitting behind his desk trying to figure out what new yarn he could spin with the intent of tanking the stock. Let's never forget that in july Gardner downgraded cpq and lowered his target price from 40 to 25. I'm afraid all the FA and TA in the world can not anticipate the effects of an analyst's agenda to move the stock up or down.
