Dow Jones Newswires -- September 6, 2000 Dow Jones Newswires Avnet Computer In Distribution Pact With EMC Corp Dow Jones Newswires TEMPE, Ariz. -- Avnet Inc.'s (AVT) Avnet Computer Marketing Hall-Mark division formed a distribution agreement with EMC Corp. (EMC). In a press release Wednesday, Avnet said EMC's CLARiiON storage product will be sold and supported through Avnet's North American storage business unit and all European and Asia/Pacific operations. Avnet distributes semiconductors and other electronic components and computer products.
