My riding buddy and I have a little ride we do every two weeks this time of the year. We leave on Tuesday afternoon at around 4pm, up and over the mountains into eastern Washington, to a favorite restaurant that is in an old pioneer home, in the middle of a orchard. The next morning we leave at sunrise to ride along the Columbia river, north to the North Cascade Pass...and back into western Washington and down to Seattle. 425 miles roundtrip and back in the office on Wednesday by noon...no one even knew we were gone... Ah, next Tuesday. Scott
