NZ has accounted for a portion of the recent runup. Tuesday's limp response to the Rimu news was a good buying opportunity, as many of us were expecting a couple more points than what we saw. I think that you'll see the sector continue up from here, and SFY will continue to be one of the strongest performers in the sector (it's now #3 over the last six months out of some 40 or so energy stocks that I track). NZ can easily triple the company's reserves, and likely there will be much more than that.

Several posters have compared SFY to OIL awhile back. OIL got a good initial kick but has risen consistently since then. SFY won't be able to seriously develop the new field for years, I think, so you'll see improving cash flows and earnings for a long time to come. That's what's nice about this, you can sit back and watch your money grow.

From here, I think we're safe to see low to mid 40's by end of year. What's possible? I have thrown out $100 per share when talking to my wife (she couldn't understand why I kept buying more shares of this stock, and looked at me like I was crazy, but she was quite pleased when I bought 500 shares for her IRA today). When might we reach $100? Perhaps two years. But a triple in 2 years is something I can live with.
