NiteOwl - my take on the VIX?

Still trying to have a hold on it:
stockcharts.com[W,A]DACLYYMY[DE][PD20,2][VC60][ILD20!LO20]
CCI above 100 with StochRSI >80 indicate so far that a move is imminent.
The rise on the VIX has been accompanied with a strong move on the market, downwards.
But the VIX has moved n gaps, and gaps have to be filled. ggg

So I expect it to resume its downward trend after testing 24-25 (200DA). That test would then be the confirmation of the short term bottom.

Leads me to confirm that the market is shaking the weak longs (Institutions are complaining again of the valuation of some high fliers) and luring the shorts.

As a result, although all my positions are below my stops, I didn't sold them. (Would have sold individual stocks below the limit if the other holdings would be in a sustained uptrend). Status of my port will tell me if I am right. 8>{
Still favoring a post Labor Day setup, prices must go down in order to have institutions start buying. And if the market resists, institutions will have to buy anyway.
I am still bullish short-middle term.
