As a very long time lurker, I thought I would more formally introduce myself to the group. I am in the financial services industry currently serving as a vice-president for a very small regional broker/dealer. I have been with my current outfit for 10 years. I am also Registered Options Principal (I rarely trade them but am willing to answer questions for those so inclined preferably by PM)). Prior to that, I spent my formative years 'talking' at EF Hutton.....(some people did actually 'listen') and its successor companies which, today, would be Smith Barney.

With that background, I will post a mandatory disclaimer that nothing I post here should be construed to be a recommendation to buy or sell.

For today, just a small note on Gemstar. There are a number of industry conferences scheduled in the next few months. Seeing that GMST has little in the way of formal PR, I was hoping they would be there although I do not see them specifically mentioned on any of the agendas.
