OT It is clear to me that Gore will win in November going away. MSFT longs(I am one) shouldnt be too disturbed by this fact. Reno will be gone and Gore has enough business targets (eg tobacco, tires, oil, autos) to keep his supposed populist tendencies in check. MSFT past arrogance is unquestioned, but the breakup is too severe a punishment as well as totally counterproductive in todays ever changing environment. Gore is not stupid. And there is no reason to believe that the Appeals court and/or the SC will be stupid either. With MSFT down 40% and this Kumar pc/chip call the last hit of many and with msft stubbornly holding at 70, it is clear to me at least, that the next move will be up. And if there is a SC ruling tomorrow on who gets the case next, as meaningless as this ruling is, it could lite the fire.
