<<We never got very deep into the how many shares of LUMT a MRVC holder will get in a spin off. >>

The answer is easy - ZERO. You will never get a share of LUMT in a MRVC spin off.

Now, if it's shares of LUMN you want to know about, the answer is noone knows for sure.

But who cares? All you need to know is that if MRVC retains 80.1% after IPO (or whatever the actual number is), when a spin off DOES occur, all will be distributed equally to all MRVC shareholders at some future date to be determined.

Whatever number of shares of MRVC you own, YOU WILL GET THE SAME DOLLAR VALUE, NO MATTER HOW MANY SHARES OF LUMN IT IS. Do you care if you receive a whole pie that is cut into two pieces or three pieces? It is still the same pie. IMO, the Yahoo! and Raging Bull threads spent hundreds of posts pursuing a meaningless topic.

If you want more LUMN value (regardless of shares), just own more MRVC when the spin off occurs.
