Some more LiAlO2 vendors crystal-gmbh.com coatingandcrystal.com The Ploogies say theirs was provided by Crystal Photonics, about which I could find nothing. These all seem to be low-key operations; I don't get the feeling that demand for these substrates is skyrocketing. AXT's expertise is in III-V compound substrates, so I doubt if they're looking at it. I wonder if lithium aluminate can be formed by combining dilithium crystals with transparent aluminum? Not that I have any... WT
