"theloof, I picked my trading position back in the last 3 days, at 47, 44 and 39 15/16 today because my GTC buy order at 40 1/2 was already in before market open."

You seem to pick PHTN bottoms pretty well and possess the cajones to take the ride. Hope you sell as well as you buy.

"One thing will trigger my selling is if AMAT or other big players enter the competition with PHTN."

Not very likely IMO. A KLAC or VECO maybe, but by way of a purchase of PHTN I would think.

"There were 3M shares changed hands in the past 3 days while the float is 8.5M. I am happy to see that because the more shares changed hands, the higher the upper potential. For people buying around $40, it is easier to hold when the stock hit $90 than people bought at less than $10."

I don't really follow the logic of that, but if you'd care to elucidate that would be great. Why talk about holding at 90 when the question right now is why hold or buy in at 40? I for one, in at last than 5, and regretfully not having sold the whole lot in the 90s, am considering whether I want to watch it drop further or take my profit now to use to buy back in when a more evident bottom forms. And what about all those folks who bought well north of 40? OR do you think the sellers are getting near shaken out already?

"I believe we are building the base here for the next rally."

You're probably as dead right as you were last time, but how high the rally? I'd say more than high 50s would be a pleasant surprise.
