Loch's CEO Appears On Radio Broadcast Programs

Business/Government Editors

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 6, 2000--"Doug Stephan's Good
Day Program" featured Rodney Boone, president/CEO of Loch Harris,
Inc. (OTCBB:LOCH) yesterday on the eighth most listened-to talk radio
program in the nation.
Boone announced new developments regarding the ELF (an acronym for
Eliminate Landmines Forever), Loch's x-ray based device designed to
detect and identify landmines and unexploded ordnance at a
Forward-looking range of two meters.
"We feel that we have some exciting news," said Boone. "US
Congressman Ron Klink, (D-PA) has expressed his interest in the global
humanitarian demining issue. As a result of the efforts of several
interested parties, ELF has been cleared to perform a live
demonstration adjacent to the steps of Congress on Sept 13, 2000 at
1:30 p.m. EDT."
Boone also mentioned plans to return to Croatia for further
validation in the next few weeks. He explained the enormous extent of
the landmine problem in the Balkans region.
"For each of the past three years, over $30 million dollars has
been spent in Bosnia, with 1500 deminers clearing 500 fields a year.
The problem is, they know of 28,000 fields in their country alone,"
said Boone.
Doug Stephan's show is broadcast on over 100 stations. "Good Day"
also includes a "Washington Reality Check," CO-hosted by White House
correspondent Ellen Ratner. This unique forum brings in well known
political guests and gives callers an opportunity to ask questions and
get answers from the White House.
Boone also appeared on "The Right Side with Armstrong Williams"
today September 6, 2000 at noon EDT to discuss the global humanitarian
demining issue and Loch's Project ELF. Williams show is broadcast on
the Talk America Radio Network. Online audio can be accessed at
talkamerica.com until noon EDT September 7.
Armstrong Williams is a widely published columnist who, in
addition to writing weekly conservative commentary for the Los Angeles
Times Syndicate, has had articles featured in such prominent
publications as The Wall Street Journal and USA Today.
Williams has appeared on a number of top-rated talk and news
shows, including the Oprah Winfrey show, the CNBC cable network,
"Crossfire," "Firing Line with William Buckley" and "The Today Show."
His latest book, "Beyond Blame," was published by Free Press in May of
1995.
A third-generation Republican with a long history of political
involvement, Williams worked for Senator Strom Thurmond, Congressmen
Carl Campbell and Floyd Spence and Chairman (now Associate Supreme
Court Justice) Clarence Thomas of the Equal Opportunity Employment
