I agree. The difference should be in the perception by the market though.

before, you could be large cap growth fund and just own Oracle and feel like you have your play on 'all this B2B stuff' going on. that is not the case anymore.

Ariba and C1 are the clear franchises in B2B. I would argue that SAP should be owned ahead of Oracle now if you want to play B2B.

I am not saying Oracle is a short. I think B2B is going to build a few hundred billion in market cap in the long run. My bet is that Ariba, C1, ITWO et al capture a good part of this.
