Hail Mary!

A "Hail Mary" happens in the last seconds of a football game. The team that is behind has possession of the ball. With little to lose and much to gain, the Quarterback makes a pass into the endzone, hoping a receiver will connect with the ball for a game-winning score. Since it is a "desperation move" and the pass isn't directed at any particular receiver, the quarterback is basically hoping for divine intervention.

Now, we've discussed such things quite a bit on the Raging Bull : AAPL board, which seems to get a wee bit more traffic than this one. Here's the basic idea: We've got expiration coming up, we've got an "event" and product announcements coming up. Time premium is approaching "0" on the OTM September calls. With the stars lining up as they are, you could potentially make that big score with a little risk by buying some of them OTM calls.

If you bought the Sept 60 this morning for 1 1/2 (I bought a few and wish I had risked more), then you've already made 70%. Now there is traditionally a run-up before events, the upside here still looks pretty good. We good be looking at an easy 3-4 bagger, and I don't mean Chelsea.
