I give them leeway, 10 to 15% sometimes more, if my buy was timed wrong or the market falls over, but I will be damned if I let a gain turn into a loss. If a really like the stock I will just buy it back higher if I have too. You have to have desire to own too that is not fleeting, you have to want the stock. A lot of times I free money up and end up investing it elsewhere while forgetting about why I bought the other stock I sold off. PWER is a perfect example of that. I hardly have regrets, just too many other fine stocks to own, once and awhile I do.
